TRANSFORMATIONS. KUWAIT FROM SAIL TO OIL: 
On the October the 1st, 2009 it was inaugurated the photo exhibition entitled "Transformations. Kuwait from sail to oil," on behalf of the National Association Italy-Kuwait. The exhibition shows mostly unreleased material for Italy and for Europe, provided by KUNA, Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti news agency. The show is hosted by the Istituto Geografico Militare in Florence, until 30th October and presents various sections and secenes from Kuwait, to its first witnesses till today, treating several aspects as the economic and social development, the discovery of oil or the invasion and the liberation of 1990-1991 . The exhibition will be opened from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 16 pm, and will be visited only in organized groups with previous reservation. SORANO AND SOVANA, BY RENZO VATTI: 
It has been published the new tourist guide by Sorano, entitled "Exploring the land of Tufo. Sorano, Sovana and neighborhoods”, written by journalist Renzo Vatti. The success of its first edition, sold out in Italian, has led to the creation of a new text completely updated with new photographs, a renewed graphic design and news on recent archaeological discoveries in the area of the necropolis of Sovana (Tomb of the winged demons). The guide has been filled up with useful tourist information, which serves to know better the so beautiful and pristine areas of the Maremma. The book was launched Saturday, August 8th at Cantinone Sorano, in presence of the Mayor of Sorano, Pierandrea Vanni , the Culture Advisor, Liana Fastelli, the journalist of the newspaper La Nazione, Fiorenzo Bucci, and the President of the Pro Loco di Sorano, Arturo Comastri. Enel and Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena have contributed to its publication.

TOURIST GUIDES IN ARABIC: 
The publishing house Nur Rome is publishing tour guides of the main Italian and European cities in Arabic. It is already provided the second edition of the guide of Florence, as well as the cities of Venice, Milan, Turin, and Rome. By the end of the year are also going to be published guides of London city, Athens, Minsk, and Lisbon. Our collaboration in advertising gathering and our relations with local authorities appeared in the event of the first edition of the Florence tour guide.
